Moto G71 5G price India
Moto G71 5G is available in one configuration and has 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of memory. The price of Moto G71 5G in India is 18 999 Rs and it is an exclusive Flipkart phone. In color options you get the option Neptune Green and Arctic Blue.
Moto G71 5G design
Moto G71 5G is smaller than other smartphones in its segment. In addition to being compact, this Motorola phone is made with ergonomics in mind. Its curved sides make it easy to grip. Its display size is 6.4 inches, which includes an opening for the selfie camera. The display frames are thin on both sides. This makes the phone easy to use with one hand. However, it becomes a little difficult to reach the top of the display.
Motorola has made its frame out of plastic, but even so, it doesn’t look cheap. However, four buttons are mounted together on the right side of the phone, which fills the frame at once. At the same time, only the SIM card tray is given on the left side. A textured cover is given to the power button, which makes it distinguishable when touched, but once you put the case that comes with the phone, it becomes difficult to recognize the buttons without looking at it. The volume buttons are mounted above the power buttons, which are easy to reach. Clicking on them gives good feedback. The Google Assistant button is mounted above the volume button, which would be better in terms of convenience if it was on the left. Your finger may need to move a little to reach this button.
Today, when almost all smartphones offer a side fingerprint scanner, Motorola has provided a capacitive fingerprint scanner in the rear panel. The company installed it in the right place, so while holding the phone, my finger lay directly on it. There is also a camera module on the back, which feels a little more prominent than other smartphones. The back panel of the phone has a glossy finish, so it easily captures fingerprints and stains. To avoid this, you can use the case that is in the box.
The bottom frame of the phone contains a 3.5 mm jack, main microphone, USB Type-C port and speaker. Only the secondary microphone is given at the top. The phone has a splash-proof design and weighs 179 grams, which can not be called heavy, but it is not light.
Moto G71 5G specifications and Software
Motorola seems to be on a slightly different path when it comes to the hardware of the Moto G71 5G. The phone has a 6.4-inch AMOLED display, which comes with FHD resolution. It is equipped with scratch-resistant glass and maintains a standard refresh rate of 60Hz. If we look at other smartphones in this segment, then Realme 8s 5G (review) and Moto G51 (review) get a higher refresh rate, but both smartphones do not have an AMOLED display.
The weight of the phone’s performance is on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor. It is the first smartphone in India to be equipped with a Snapdragon 695 processor. It is an octa-core chipset with a clock speed of 2.2 GHz. The phone has 6GB of RAM. Along with this there is a function to increase RAM, so 1.5 GB of storage space can be used as RAM. This feature is enabled by default in the phone.
The Moto G71 5G supports 13 5G bands, which is the highest in India in this price range. Supports 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5, NFC, dual-band Wi-Fi and 6 satellite navigation systems. The battery capacity is 5000 mAh and the 33W TurboPower charger is also included in the box.
Motorola’s Moto G71 5G comes with standard Android 11 and the December security fix was given to my device. The phone is also expected to receive an update to Android 12, but the timeline has not yet been confirmed. The MyUX skin is not found in the software, those who like standard Android will like it.
Some useful things like Moto Actions have been added to the phone, with which many types of tasks can be performed only by shaking the phone. One of Moto’s existing features is the double-cut gesture to turn the flashlight on and off. Apart from that, there is a reversal function for silencing. Moto’s Gametime app quickly mutes incoming calls and disables in-game auto brightness. Bloat apps are no longer visible on Motorola phones, and only Google apps are pre-installed. Although Cred and Facebook were pre-installed on the Moto G71 5G, there was an option to uninstall them.
Moto G71 5G performance and battery life
Moto G71 5G provides smooth performance. Applications and games opened quickly on the phone and multitasking was very easy thanks to 6 GB of RAM. However, I noticed an unusual lag in the camera’s viewfinder after the battery percentage dropped below 15, even without the battery save feature turned on. Ignoring this, the phone did not disappoint anywhere. The fingerprint scanner mounted on the back was quite accurate and the phone was unlocked at once. Facial recognition was also good. The video watching experience on the AMOLED display was great. The viewing angles on the display are good and the screen looked bright even outdoors.
As the Moto G71 5G is the first smartphone in India powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695, I had to see how it would compete with other competitors. The phone scored 3,78,268 points on AnTuTu, which is higher than Redmi Note 11T 5G 5G’s MediaTek Dimensity 810. The phone scored 668 points in the Geekbench 5 single-core test and 1,900 points in the multi-core test. In terms of graphics results, the phone scored 60 frames per second on the GFXBench T-Rex and 18 frames per second in the Car Chase test. While in the test Sling Shot on 3DMark received 4159 points.
I played Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) on my phone. By default it works with HD graphics and high frame rate. It was no problem to play the game in these settings. After 33 minutes, the battery percentage decreased by 6 percent, which is normal. The phone wasn’t hot even after the game session.
I had a day and a half of battery life on the Moto G71 5G. Under normal use, the phone can give even more battery life. For heavy users, the phone can work comfortably one day. The phone lasts 17 hours and 58 minutes in our HD video loop test, which is quite good considering the 5000 mAh battery. The phone comes with a charger with a power of 33W, which helps to charge very quickly. It charges from 0 to 54 percent in 30 minutes and 91 percent in one hour.
Moto G71 5G camera
Speaking of the phone’s camera setup, the triple camera setup is given in the Moto G71 5G. The main camera is 50 megapixels, which has an aperture of f / 1.8. The second camera is an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with a 118-degree field of view. The third camera is a 2-megapixel macro camera. The phone has a 16-megapixel front camera for selfies. The Motorola camera app is quite simple and easy to use. The most commonly used photo and video capture modes are front and center, while other modes are given in the menu. The phone remembers the last shooting mode used so that it does not have to re-enter the same mode to restart it. Apart from a slight lag in the viewfinder (as mentioned above), the camera application showed no flaws.
The phone is quite fast when locking focus and exposure. By default, it saves the photo at 12.5 megapixels. Photographs taken in daylight are good and distant subjects can be easily recognized. Dynamic range is medium, so highlights cannot be maintained in photos taken in bright light. The pictures taken with the ultra-wide-angle camera were relatively not so good and the edges of the frame looked distorted.
The close-ups were clear and the colors were also quite accurate. With its wide aperture, the background becomes slightly blurred while taking the photo and the subject is clearly visible. The camera’s user interface itself offers a switch to macro shooting when you get too close to the subject. Macro photos are not very detailed, but the macro lens is able to get very close to the subject. Edge recognition is good in portrait mode and I was able to set the blur level before taking a picture.
Camera performance in low light is average. No details were found in the photo and after enlarging the photo the photo was grainy. After activating the night mode, it took his phone 4 to 5 seconds to take each frame. But his production was quite bright and there was a big difference even in shady places. However, looking closely, the photo looked fake.
In the case of selfies, the phone performed well. The selfies were crisp and the blurring of the background was better in portraits. Selfies taken in low light were also worth posting on social media.
Speaking of video, he managed to record video in 1080p on the main and selfie camera. The phone has Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) and is activated by default. The shots taken during the day while driving were quite stable, and there was more interference at night.
Now the number of 5G smartphones is increasing in the market of smartphones with a budget below 20,000. Moto G71 5G is quite capable in this segment and you can choose it as your next smartphone. The phone has a strong processor, good battery life, support for fast charging and the cameras are also good. Moto G71 5G is for users who want a simple design smartphone with a standard Android experience.
The performance of the camera in low light of the phone is an area that misses, otherwise it could be a universal smartphone. If you are looking for another alternative in this phone segment, then you can look at the Redmi Note 11T 5G (review), Realme 8s 5G (review) and iQoo Z3 (review).

iQoo Neo 6 Review: A Powerful Phone at a Reasonable Price!
iQOO Neo 6 Price in India
The iQoo Neo 6 is priced at Rs 29,999 in India, which comes with the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage model. Its top model comes with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, which costs Rs 33,999. The iQoo Neo 6 can be purchased in Dark Nova and Cyber Rays colors.
iku neo 6 design
The iQoo Neo 6 phone is a rebranded model of the iQoo Neo 6 SE that was launched in China earlier this year. Neo 6 is a large smartphone in terms of dimensions and weighs 190 grams. The phone has a 6.62-inch AMOLED display with a punch-hole design at the top for the selfie camera. Display bezels are thin. The frame of the phone is made of plastic and is kept flat on top and bottom.
iQoo has added an IR (infrared) emitter that sits near the secondary microphone on the top. At the bottom there is a slot for a USB Type C port, a speaker and a SIM tray. The back panel is made of plastic with curved sides. The phone is quite comfortable to hold. Its right side is narrow and carries a thin power button and volume rocker.
The dark new color of the phone looks quite elegant. It has a gradient finish that shows a mixed shade of dark blue and bright blue. If you want a flashier phone, then you can also check out its Cyber Rage variant. The phone’s camera module will grab your attention. It has a two-tiered design on which the Neo branding is placed, which is seen separately.
The company has also provided a transparent case inside the phone box. The back panel has a matte finish, so fingerprints don’t fall off so easily. You also get a USB Type C to 3.5mm audio adapter, which is a good thing.
iQoo Neo 6 Specifications and Software
Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC is provided in iQoo Neo 6 which is the most powerful processor for this price range. The Mi 11X competes directly with this phone, which has a similar chip. iQoo says it has included a liquid cooling system in the phone to keep the processor cool.
The Neo 6 has a Full HD Plus E4 AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It has a 360Hz touch sample rate that can go up to 1200Hz in some games. The display is also HDR10+ certified and its brightness is 800 nits. iQoo has also provided stereo speakers in the Neo 6, but the phone does not have an IP rating.
This iQoo phone supports Bluetooth 5.2, dual-band Wi-Fi, four 5G bands, dual 4G VoLTE and five satellite navigation systems. You don’t get NFC in this. iQoo Neo 6 has a 4700mAh battery and supports up to 80W fast charging. You also get a compatible charger in the box.
Talking about the software, it runs on Funtouch OS 12 which is based on Android 12. The company has promised two years of Android updates and 3 years of security updates with the phone. Its user interface is almost similar to Vivo X80 which I reviewed recently. Too bad I have the same experience with bloated software in this as well. Some applications may be uninstalled. The browser keeps sending spam notifications throughout the day which is quite annoying.
iQoo Neo 6 performance and battery life
iQoo Neo 6 has a powerful processor and there is no lag in the phone even with prolonged use. I had its 12GB variant on which I could multitask, switching between apps very comfortably. I didn’t see any apps reloading at any point. The phone has an extended RAM feature and can use up to 4GB of system memory as RAM.
I enjoyed watching videos on the phone’s AMOLED display. Stereo speakers make the experience even better. The refresh rate is high, so scrolling is smooth in apps and menus. The company has set the Smart Switch refresh rate as the default. It runs at 120Hz most of the time at this setting.
iQoo Neo 6 has an in-display fingerprint scanner which is quite reliable and never gets damaged during use. FaceUnlock also works in a similar way. The phone scored well in benchmarks. Its AnTuTu score is higher than the OnePlus Nord 2 with 729,331 points. In Geekbench 5, it scored 983 and 3074 points in single and multi-core. In the GFXBench graph, it scored 50fps in the Car Chase test. Users who want good performance, this phone will not disappoint in terms of results.
I played Call of Duty: Mobile on it, which by default was running on very high graphics and had the frame rate set to high by default. I played the game for 20 minutes in which the battery dropped by 5%. The phone didn’t heat up, which explains its liquid cooling capability.
I loved the battery performance of this phone and it lasted comfortably for one and a half days. In the HD video cycle test, the phone lasted 21 hours and 17 minutes, which is quite impressive. Its 80W fast charger charged the phone 83% in 30 minutes and the phone was fully charged within 50 minutes.
iQOO Neo 6K camera
The iQoo Neo 6 features a triple camera setup that includes a 64-megapixel primary lens with OIS, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens with a 116-degree field of view, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. For selfies, there is a 16-megapixel camera. The camera app is very easy to use and looks similar to the Vivo X80 app. The main camera takes 16-megapixel photos by default, but you can click full-resolution photos if needed.
His daylight landscape photos were accompanied by detail and subjects were easily recognizable even from a distance. Words written on distant buildings can also be read. AI optimization is available in the phone which improves the contrast in the output. The ultra-wide camera has a wider field of view and gets the same color profile as the main camera.
The phone takes close-up photos with clear and full details. This creates a natural bokeh effect between the background and the subject. Edge detection was good in portrait mode. The macro camera also captured extremely close-up shots.
The phone proved to be very fast when shooting a low-light scene, for which it held the shutter open for a long time. Thanks to this, the image was captured with a clear and detailed picture. In very dark areas, the phone itself suggested switching to night mode.
The phone’s sensor captures the selfie in full resolution. The app adds a beautification filter by default, but it can also be adjusted or disabled if needed. In daylight, the skin tone is accurate to the photo. In low light, the screen flash is activated automatically for better results. Edge detection was good in selfies taken in portrait mode and the level of background blur was also adequate.
Its primary rear camera can shoot 4K video at 60 frames per second. Its selfie camera can also shoot videos at this resolution and frame rate, which is rare. Footage was fairly stable in daylight, but motion in low light was a bit shaky. The camera app has a dual video mode so that the main and selfie cameras can record videos at the same time.
If you are looking for a 30k budget smartphone then you can keep this phone high on your list. The phone’s performance is pretty good, as you’d expect from a device with a Qualcomm chip. The promise of Android and security updates makes it future proof. In my opinion, its base 8GB variant seems better value for money.
I don’t have many complaints about it other than the pre-installed bloatware on the phone. If you pick up the phone for video recording purposes, then be aware that it doesn’t perform as well in low light.
If you want pure software, you can look at the Motorola Edge 30. If you can’t compromise on performance, go for the Mi 11X and OnePlus Nord 2, which are good alternatives in the same price range.
